Love the atmosphere of this place. Love taking my dogs for walks at the college, beautiful rose garden during the summer months. Ducks at the pond will chase you sometimes for food.found out you can fish here but it's catch and release which is good. Well lit walking at night is good. Plus they have Starbucks in the Fidel center! Awesome. during the evening at sunset the mountain in the back ground is something else.

Nice place overall, with nice scenery, friendly staff and lots to explore. It's out in the middle of nowhere, in a boring town but my experience was good. College atmosphere, and some attractions. A New Mexico landmark.

We used this school as our annual ESCAPE training for statewide search and rescue teams. Nice campus, good layout.

Been here twice for explosives training through my fire department. Great classes and friendly people. The local students are nice and willing to give directions or food advise. I am looking forward to returning.

This is a really pretty campus and compact easy to navigate. Nice people also. Just here for an event but still very nice. I could see my kids attending here someday.

New Mexico Tech is a wonderful school and has an absolutely beautiful campus. The graduation keynote speaker - Dr. Wallace did talk about him self way too much at the student graduation though. Graduation should be about offering wisdom to the graduates and not a self proclaimed biography.

Just visiting on a summer day, but really beautiful campus grounds everywhere, as well as a fabulous minerology museum. A very relaxing place to be, if you're not studying for final exams.

Our daughter enrolled in the materials engineering degree for her undergrad. She loves the student to faculty ratio, and in particular the willingness of her professors to go the extra mile to ensure the students learn and are challenged, truly remarkable! So many aspects of this school truly make it the gem it is - a value for its price and location.

My only criticism would be dealing with the registrar's office. There is a woman who works there named Heather, who's bad mood and unwillingness to help does not reflect the school and the overwhelmingly positive and helpful nature found here. Dealing with the registrar's office at any college can be a pain, but I don't appreciate the attitude nor the feeling that the student nor their respective parents owe them anything, we are not doing you a favor and you are not doing one for us!
